Lorna MacLachlan has been writing/arranging and perform- ing in Western Canada for over 30 years. after completing a graduate degree in composition, she composed scores for Theatre, Dance and National media companies. As an educator Lorna is passionate about music and a strong advocate for the arts in the development of young minds. She taught music in the public schools for over 24 years and has been recognized nationally for her dedication to excellence in music education.Who are some of the most influential jazz pianists and when did they produce their most significant work?
