Now in its fourth year, this collaborative program continues to showcase female leadership, mentorship, and artistry in jazz education and performance.Prepare for an evening of music that connects, inspires, and delights. Directed by the delightful trombonist and educator Audrey Ochoa, she is joined by Dr. Colleen Clark—educator, Founder, and Artistic Director of the University of South Carolina’s Jazz Girls Day®—drives the rhythm on drums, while Breakout West Jazz Artist of the Year Aretha Tillotson on bass brings their signature energy. Rising star Virginia Macdonald’s clarinet soars alongside the virtuosity of Calgary-based pianist Michelle Gregoire, creating a vibrant, soulful soundscape that promises to leave audiences uplifted and inspired.
