When this duo show was presented in Germany at Jazzahead in 2022, Marianne Trudel had trouble introducing the tunes because the audience would not stop clapping. Dédé Java Espiritu plunges the listener into an infinite panorama of colours and grooves. This concert invites the listener to share in a world of beauty, intuition, dreams, and mystery where catchy grooves, enchanting melodies, surprising sonorities, and joyous spontaneity go hand in hand. This is a tour-de-force by two outstanding musicians--both professors at McGill University-- who just don't tour very often in western Canada.
